Requirements

• Access to your WordPress admin dashboard.
• A .zip file of the plugin on your computer.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to WordPress

Go to your WordPress site’s /wp-admin page and log in with an account that has administrator privileges.

2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New

In the left sidebar, click on Plugins, then select Add New.

3. Click “Upload Plugin”

At the top of the page, click the Upload Plugin button next to the page title.

4. Choose the Plugin ZIP File

Click Choose File, browse your computer, and select the .zip file of the plugin you want to install.

After selecting the file, click the Install Now button.

5. Click “Install Now”

6. Activate the Plugin

Once installation finishes, you’ll see a success message. Click Activate Plugin to start using it right away.

Troubleshooting

• Error: “Destination folder already exists”
  → You may already have the plugin installed. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and check.
• Error: “The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.”
  → Make sure you uploaded the correct .zip file and not a folder or an incorrect archive.
